About the Competition
After the first three editions, we want to thank the institutional and private partners without whom
nothing would have existed. Candidates brought competition to life, accompanied by the pianists, under the attentive listening of the jury. Everyone became part of a unique musical experience in Ghisonaccia, confirming today the programming of the
fourth edition from
September 24th-27th, 2024
Since 2014, mezzo soprano Katerina Kovanji has performed regularly in Corsica, especially in Ghisonaccia,
a seaside resort on the eastern coast of the island. In the face of the public's interest in opera - thanks to the dynamism of the municipality - the idea of creating a lyric competition came to fruition.
The combined efforts made possible to present talented singers to appear before a professional jury of quality.
Managers, music hall directors and legendary singers will audit the candidates.
For this they will also have to discover Corsica in its most intimate dimension.
The third edition introduced us to more than 3,500 artists.
72 semifinalists were citizens of more than
26 different countries.
Now is your turn.
